Discipleship Class

About the Class

The Discipleship Class was established in 1958 as one of the first Adult Sunday School Classes at the church.

Our focus is to study the Scriptures in an effort to learn more about Christ and our mission in the world, hence our name “Discipleship”.

The facilitator of the class rotates among several of our very competent members and past studies have included works by Philip Yancey, “What’s So Amazing About Grace”, Becky Pippert, “Out of the Salt Shaker”, and R.C. Sproul.

Discipleship class schedule

Location - Robinson Room
The Discipleship Class will continue meeting every Sunday morning at 9:50 in the Robinson Room. This past month John Allen led their study of the first half of Mark, answering the question, “Who is Jesus?” Throughout March a study appropriate to the Lenten season begins with Mark 9 and answers the question “Why Did Jesus Come?” with His own words, “The Son of Man is come to give his life a ransom for many.” The study format combines both discussion and lecture, and visitors are always welcome.
